Conceptually - this series continues my exploration of high vs low art as well as market campaigns as art as expression - visually they combine the seemingly disparate mediums of abstract mark making with comic book illustration - the subject matter is inspired by one of Madi's favorite characters - technically they are mixed media digital paintings with multiple hand made elements being scanned and combined in Photoshop for color, manipulation, and final layout - and they will look really good over your couch
