TOP TEN reasons blake hopes that G1988 will want to share blake's art...(compiled by blake...that's me)
#10.) matt talbot is pretty much now my favorite artist because somehow he popped up in my facebook feed and somehow you probably put him there.
#9.) I graduated in 1988 and that has gotta mean something. (there's also like three G's in that reason...you know, as in like "G" 1988...well now there's five, I guess...or six)
#8.) I like the wizard of oz.
#7.) I went to the school of visual arts in nyc and drew backgrounds in marvel and archie comics - something in that sentence has to be cool to somebody.
#6.) some people buy my things. because I make things.
#5.) when I'm not making things I save lives and if G1988 sells my things G1988 could save me from saving lives, not that I don't want to save lives, it's just very tiring saving lives and I really like making things.
#4.) market campaigns as art as expression.
#3.) high and low conceived by kirk varnedoe and presented at MOMA (NY) in 1990 was fire.
